Delete your account

You can delete your Crackleboom account and its data at any time. You do not need to reinstall the app.

Delete it yourself

  1. Sign in to Crackleboom, in the app or on the web.
  2. Open Account & rules from the footer of any page.
  3. Under Delete account, tap Delete my account and confirm.

Or ask us to do it

If you can't sign in, email contact@data-clerk.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We action requests within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile: display name, username, email, password hash, Google account identifier and profile picture.
  • Your contacts, on both sides.
  • Your conversations and the messages in them, for both participants.
  • Your push notification tokens, so your device stops ringing.
  • Your presence, matchmaking and call records.
  • The blocks you created.

What we keep, and for how long

We keep a de-identified record of safety reports — the reason and the time, with no link back to your account — so we can handle abuse complaints. Server logs containing IP addresses age out on our normal short retention cycle. Encrypted backups are overwritten on their rotation schedule, within 30 days.
